Scobie’s Identity

Scobie's is an Irish bar and café located in Dorchester's Adams Village neighborhood. Positioned in an existing space in an vibrant Irish community, the clients sought to create a gathering place that combined a fresh take on the classic pub aesthetic with the nostalgia and comfort of Ireland's West Coast. The design team created a conceptual vision for the architectural, interior design, and visual identity for Scobie's, delivering a full suite of identity assets and brand guidelines. With a moniker inspired by a family nickname and a famous jockey, Scobie's visual identity utilizes a hand-crafted mark, accompanied by a set of custom donkey illustrations. The brand is executed in an array of colorways creating an energized and flexible identity perfect for a lively morning-to-night neighborhood hangout.
