Project Place
Project Place 'Gatehouse' is a six-story, LEED-certified building that includes a mix of retail, residential, and institutional uses for Project Place, a nonprofit agency working to train and transition Boston’s homeless into the workforce and permanent housing. The project includes 14 units of SRO housing and ground level restaurant Myers + Chang on the historic and symbolic site of Boston’s original city gate. “Working with [Hacin] proved to be a real partnership – [Hacin] created a building that allows us to advance our mission, is environmentally friendly, and contributes to the revitalization of Washington Street.” — Suzanne Kenney, Executive Director Project Place
