In architecture, preservation typically focuses on protecting historic structures from unwanted change, through restoration or careful interventions. At Hacin, our design team subscribes to a view of preservation that also includes adapting historic buildings for modern use and building new structures on historic sites that are inspired by the past while simultaneously reviving the character of the neighborhood.
