Living Proof Announces Style Lab-Retail Hybrid Designed by Hacin
On May 9, Jennifer Aniston came to Cambridge to announce one of Hacin’s current projects, the Living Proof Style | Lab, a retail concept space which serves as the consumer face of the company’s laboratory and headquarters, also designed by Hacin. As both a celebrity spokesperson and co-owner of Living Proof, Aniston’s visit included a working design session with David Hacin to review furniture, finish selections, and updated renderings of the space. Also involved in the design review was Living Proof CEO, Jill Beraud, and CMO, Grace Ray as well as Chris McMillan, Aniston’s personal hair stylist and owner of the Chris McMillan Salon in Beverly Hills. The space is scheduled to open later this summer. [Pictured above from left: Jon Flint of Polaris Venture Partners, Jill Beraud, CEO of Living Proof, Jennifer Aniston, and Robert Langer of MIT]
Located adjacent to the Living Proof Headquarters, the Living Proof Style | Lab was conceived as a venue where scientists and stylists can come together to test new products with consumers; the space is designed to be multi-functional and flexible allowing for events and industry training sessions where science and beauty intersect. As the conception of a company created by acclaimed MIT professor and biotech inventor Bob Langer, and Jon Flint and Amir Nashat of the Innovation District-based Polaris Venture Partners, this inventive, science-based beauty lab – along with the Living Proof Headquarters – is right at home in the heart of Kendall Square, a location long known as being one of the nation’s most prominent centers of innovation.
Stay tuned for more news about this exciting project!
