Hacin’s Service Day in Dorchester
At the end of June, Hacin teamed up with Rebuilding Together Boston and the Trustees of Reservations to sponsor the cleanup of Erie Park, a pocket park located in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston. Hacin team members spent the day replacing a fence, stripping and painting a railing, and landscaping the space for residents of the community to better enjoy the park and it’s green space.
The day was organized by our firm’s EDI Committee chair, Aimee Epstein Norton, who says “We know the social, physical, and mental health benefits of public green space, which we promote in our design work, but today we get to physically contribute for this neighborhood in Dorchester.” Many thanks to the Trustees and Rebuilding Together for allowing our firm to help them improve one of our city’s public parks!
