Beacon Street PH2
This sleek penthouse in Boston’s Back Bay was literally born out of fire: the building was struck by lightning, and the upper floors were completely burned out. Hacin worked closely with the client on both the architecture and interior design, turning the fire-ravaged space into an open, modern home that supports serious cooking and entertaining. The serene space is punctuated with punches of rough texture from artwork and antique furniture, and a custom stair leads to a roof deck with sweeping city views. “Working as a real estate developer for over 30 years has given me the opportunity to engage professionally with many architects and designers. My experience with [Hacin] was the most fulfilling. Their ability to listen to the client and attention to detail was superb. Our new home is a true reflection of [Hacin's] ethos and a joy to live in." — Client
